I live on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast I am 27 years old and am going blind I am already blind in 1 eye and have a disease called sarcoidosis. I am disabled because of the disease. In August 2005 I lost everything in the home I was renting due to hurricane Katrina. I have since bought a piece of propertyand a used mobile home but since I was not a homeowner at the time of Katrina there is no insurance money or grant money coming my way. I lived with my husband in a 21 foot camper without lights water and sewage up until we received our Fema trailer 2 months ago. which was March of 2007 I have no funds to get my home elevated and remodled, no funds for furniture . At this point I have no idea what my family and I are going to do. I have been told that I am not a Katrina victim because I was not a home owner but I beleive I am. I stayed in town for the storm, I lost my dear pets, cars, clothes, furniture, and everything.
